My husband J sprained his calf on Wednesday night and it's been an on going headache going back and forth with worker's comp. He cannot walk but they're saying he can come in for light duty. This is disgusting how they don't want to pay for any sick time. And my husband has been tellin the truth but the caseworkers as well as anyone he explains too doesn't think to record that in their own reports. It made J look back when the VP phoned him.

Every April has been a “It’s my birthday month!” for a couple of years. My birthday is April 13 but in my true fashion, one day is simply not enough to celebrate -me- (my husband would scoff right here if you could see us haha). Maybe it’s the birthday pressure of having a date that works well for friends and family to see me, but I don’t mind every weekend of the month having an event of sorts.

Last week, I saw my family and I asked my mom if she could make empanadas. That’s all I really wanted. My mom, of course being the sweet lady she is, made a birthday table for me. It was so nice to see my two sisters and parents (and their 3 cats and 2 dogs and 1 fish named Frederico).

This week I got a mani pedi done with my man and our roommates F and E. THE MASSAGE CHAIR WAS EVERYTHING TO ME… I need to get myself some back massager contraption cause I NEED IT. I picked a super shimmery pink.

We went to Hmart and then Lotte Market and I picked up cute things and the cafe. I got a soft Kuromi pillow! Then I went to Sushisaga and a lot of our friend group arrived! Despite most of them not being fans of sushi, they were very kind to come and celebrate my birthday with me.

The party continued at our apartment and holy shit we played 2 hours of Uno with J, T, and my man. If there is one thing you must know about me… I am super serious about my uno lol! I get pretty lucky with winning, so much so my gamer husband hates playing with me cause I win more often. But ALAS! He beat me twice! The first time he did, I immediately dogged him and started tickling/wrestling him. He won it so dirty LOL He had uno and I put a +2 card… and his last card was ALSO A +2. I was flabbergasted!!

The 2nd win was also NASTY to me. My man started with a +2 and had one card left after and then my other two friends passed it down to me with their +2’s GIVING THE CLEAR WIN TO MY MAN AGAIN!!! Hahaha

I've got a lot going for myself lately:

• 🌥 Writing the first chapter of my story MadWeird Love
🌩 I've done all the prewriting I can do before writing actual chapters of my story. I don't know if I need a break or keep pushing, but I was so excited to get it all done before and now I feel like I'm out of juice lol
• 🌥 Remaster favorite art illutrations/comics for my Sheezyart
🌩 I'm still working on a pretty website page but just like this website, it's going to take a bit to get it perfect and to my liking. I wanted to upload 5 art stuff I liked in the past to show now but it didn't look good as good... Curses! Maybe a break from my creative endeavors is best...

So much so that I am defintely making a page about my village in my 'Latest Tisms' section :3 (if you're confused what this means, it is just a silly way of saying 'Hey, I'm austistic and this is one of my favorite interests I go ham in for no reason')
