Long time no update! I got a bunch of meaningful sketches I did done
Been working on plot stuff so I mostly just focus on sketching the facial expressions and dialogue. Most of my poses are pretty static but it would be too time consuming to do all that when this is just helping me move the plot along :)
It started off with me fixating on Nikki and Eric having a shotgun wedding they had no recollection of. Why? Uh cause they're my beloved ocs and this is probably the most peak I've indulged, lol. I thought about it for like 2 days if I wanted to add it into canon and I've decided on Yeah! And I made it work >:3
Course this means that Andre and Nikki would have a falling out and despite her needing his help, he's not jumping up for joy anymore. It's gonna be a slowburn!!

Putting aside my new plot revelations, I need to refocus on the ongoing projects I have. I took a nice 2 week break of dicking around really lol still writing and sketching but not towards anything I've been building. I want to work on discipline this year. I've had goals of making more comics or illustrations for 2 years and have never reached that goal :[ And I know I can do it!! I just need to buckle down and practice.
Also, been realling enjoying writing about my ocs. I have a smut fic in the works and I think I'll have to make illustrations with it cause I've been really wanting to see how the combo looks together :))

-I'm slowly moving my future art pieces to my Bluesky Acct. Occupying my time at twitter just hurts me. From the rampant AI shenanigans muskyrat is doing, the dangerous political brainrot, and general hater talk about numerous things, it's all becoming overstimulating. While I love learning about the culture and what everyone is talking about,,, my anxiety has been unmanageable.

Another month lost and my first chapter is not nearly done at all. I'm frustrated with myself. Yes I can have excuses about it but it doesn't make me feel any better. I'm trying to figure out the right time in my day to add more into the chapter. I only have the skeleton done (that's good but not finished!). Sigh, so that's where I am.

-Pushed through the rest of chapter 1 draft of my story. 100% done phew! I'm so tired to feel accomplished rn but I know it's great.

I'm super grateful and happy when I recieve kind comments that my work is inspiring, exciting, etc. etc. It always gives me the energy to keep going! I'm not making money right now and money is not going to be my priority. I am making art and stories for the sake of it!

-first draft of chapter is like 65% done! Then i'll work on the illustrations in between reading I want to draw.
-I colored some scenes for my animatic. im chipping at it slowly. im starting to see each pic as it's own frame.
-practiced anatomy by drawing eric and nikki having sex. since their height is so different, he's usually sitting and she's on his lap. im p happy with it! it's here if u click on this

eric and nikki at the beginning of their fling had mean rough sex, and it became more intimate and soft... its looney enough to work.

andre usually wakes eric up every Thursday for payday. at first it was just staring at him before he senses it, but it increasingly gets more mean. Like he would throw a bucket of water on him. Cock a gun on his head. Throw a phonebook at him. pretty much to get a rise out of eric since he's expressive as a rock!

I go back and forth whether i want a 90's pure look of that era or a Y2K with the glamour and pops of color.... perhaps a transition. like flashbacks are in the 90's of what the throuple had going on before a decade ago.

Andre lost his mom at 15.
Nikki was in college at 18. She did the horrible thing at maybe 16? to her dad. not sure when he'll be out of the picture but she was young.
Eric's abusive dad gets the worst when eric was 22 (he's 29/30 rn). He leaves home that night. i wanna add hacker stuff he did at this age too. Maybe moved in with his bf at the time. His bf was 28 and a big time dealer. He taught Eric a lot of illegal stuff to do for money and back they had to. His bf was fugitive at his home country. eric had a gift of divinity and would try to abuse lottery machines for the best outcomes he can predict.
